Quick answer
For one snapshot a year at the lowest price, Superpower wins at $199 [1]. For two draws a year, Function Health costs less per draw ($365 for two) and lists more tests [2] [3]. Function also links to Ezra MRI at a member price of $899 [4]; see Ezra vs Prenuvo. If you live in New York or New Jersey, Function's $365 offer does not apply [2].

Differences that change the price
- Draw frequency. Two draws a year at Function make each draw $182.50 at list price, versus $199 at Superpower.
- Price clarity. Superpower's landing page showed $199, $349 and $298 figures plus a Labor Day promo on the same day [1]. Check the cart total.
- Renewal. Function says the membership renews at the then-current price, and it was $499 a year in earlier coverage [2].
- Extras. Function charges members for on-demand tests and does not publish add-on prices [3].
What the evidence supports
Both companies sell breadth. We found no US guideline in our research that recommends large consumer panels for healthy adults. The guidance we have is narrower: the ACC/AHA cholesterol guideline uses a coronary calcium score for adults 40 to 75 at intermediate risk when the statin choice is unclear [5]. Ask each company how it handles out-of-range results and who orders follow-up tests. Share results with your primary doctor or a preventive cardiologist.
