What Henry Meds sells and where it comes from
Henry Meds lists compounded semaglutide (injections, with oral tablets mentioned), compounded tirzepatide, liraglutide and phentermine [4]. It says its drugs come from licensed 503A compounding pharmacies or 503B outsourcing facilities, without naming them. FDA says 503B outsourcing facilities may not compound semaglutide or tirzepatide from bulk ingredients right now, because neither drug is on the 503B bulks list or the shortage list [5]. Ask Henry Meds which pharmacy fills your order and whether it is a 503A pharmacy.
Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide are not FDA-approved. FDA does not review compounded drugs for safety, effectiveness or quality before they are sold [6]. FDA also says semaglutide sodium and semaglutide acetate, the salt forms some compounders used, have no lawful basis for use in compounding [6]. If you want to know whether Henry Meds uses a salt form, ask for the pharmacy name and the exact ingredient on the label. Our compounded tirzepatide guide and compounded semaglutide guide explain the rules.
FDA and complaint record
We found no FDA warning letter to Henry Meds in FDA's database or a 163-letter compilation through Sep 30 2026 [3]. We have not checked its BBB profile, Trustpilot page or court records, and we have not confirmed reports of litigation involving the company. That is why the clean rating is provisional. Compare the companies that did get letters in our FDA letter tracker.
Henry Meds vs IVIM and brand options
IVIM lists compounded tirzepatide at $117 a month on prepaid 6 or 12 month programs, without saying which length gets that price, and it has a February 2026 FDA letter [7] [8]; see our IVIM review. Brand Zepbound costs $299 to $449 a month at LillyDirect, with no compounding questions [9]. See tirzepatide cost for every channel.
Who Henry Meds fits
- Fits: adults who want one monthly price for visits and a compounded drug and accept that it is not FDA-approved.
- Look elsewhere: anyone who wants an FDA-approved drug, has insurance that may cover one, or wants a flexible refund policy.
- Testosterone: people also search for Henry Meds TRT. We have not reviewed any testosterone service from Henry Meds; see online TRT clinics compared.
Safety with compounded GLP-1s
FDA has received reports of people hurt by dosing errors with compounded injectable semaglutide, some needing hospital care [6]. Units on a syringe depend on the concentration printed on your pharmacy label, so follow your prescriber's instructions and that label, and ask the pharmacist if anything is unclear. The approved drugs carry a boxed warning for thyroid C-cell tumors in rodents [10]. Get care for severe stomach pain that will not stop or signs of an allergic reaction, and call 911 in an emergency.
