How we check

Concierge and longevity medicine in Seattle

Seattle buyers choose among three tiers: hybrid memberships such as One Medical at $199 a year, direct primary care at about $50 to $100 a month, and full concierge practices at several thousand dollars a year [1][2][3]. We did not find a Seattle concierge practice that publishes its fee as of October 17, 2026.

Concierge medicine is a primary care arrangement in which patients pay a recurring membership fee for more access to their doctor, usually alongside insurance.

Seattle's market in one paragraph

Seattle's median household income is $123,860 [4], about twice Houston's [7], so retainer medicine has more potential buyers here. Washington also has one of the older direct primary care laws: RCW 48.150, from 2007, governs "direct practices" outside insurance regulation [5]. The result is a mix of DPC clinics, hybrid membership services and higher-priced concierge practices, few of which post prices online.

HSA rules changed in 2026

Since January 1, 2026, a direct primary care arrangement costing up to $150 a month for one person, or $300 for a family, no longer blocks HSA contributions, and the fees can be paid from the HSA [12]. Arrangements that bill insurance separately do not qualify, which leaves out most concierge practices [12]. If a Seattle DPC clinic charges more than $150 a month for one adult, you lose HSA contribution eligibility while enrolled [12].

Longevity add-ons

Prenuvo lists a Seattle location [6]; Whole Body scans cost $2,499 [13]. Function Health's blood testing membership was $365 a year when we checked [14]. The American College of Radiology does not recommend total-body MRI for people without symptoms or risk factors [15]. Read longevity blood tests compared and full-body MRI cost.

Medicare patients

Medicare does not cover concierge membership fees, and a doctor cannot use the fee to charge extra for Medicare-covered services [16]. With 13.0% of Seattle residents 65 or older [4], ask any practice how it handles Medicare in writing. More: concierge medicine and Medicare.
