How we check

Wellness injections: NAD+, B12, glutathione, PT-141

Of the common wellness injections, only B12 (cyanocobalamin injection) and bremelanotide (PT-141, sold as Vyleesi) have FDA-approved versions on the market [7] [2]; NAD+ and glutathione have no approved injection and are on FDA's list of compounding substances still under evaluation [1]. We could not confirm typical clinic prices for these injections for this page.

Medical review: pending. A licensed clinician has not yet reviewed this page.

Wellness injections are shots or IV drips of vitamins, molecules or peptides, such as B12, NAD+, glutathione and PT-141, sold by clinics and telehealth companies, most often as compounded products.

What these injections cost

We could not confirm typical clinic or online prices for NAD+, B12, glutathione or compounded PT-141 for this page. Many sellers bundle shots into memberships. Ask for the total monthly or course price, including visits, supplies and shipping, before you sign up.

PT-141 online: Vyleesi vs compounded bremelanotide

Vyleesi (bremelanotide) was approved on June 21 2019 for premenopausal women with acquired, generalized hypoactive sexual desire disorder. Its label says it is not for postmenopausal women or for men [2]. Follow the label and your prescriber for how to use it.

Compounded bremelanotide is not FDA-approved. In an Aug 2026 warning letter, FDA called PT-141 sold by Peptide Partners an unapproved new drug and rejected its "for research use only" label [5]. We do not link to research-use-only sellers. Gameday Men's Health clinics list PT-141 among their services [6]; see our Gameday review.

Glutathione injections online

There is no FDA-approved glutathione injection. Glutathione is on FDA's 503A Category 1 list, under evaluation [1]. We could not confirm prices or the quality of the evidence for glutathione shots for this page, and we make no claims about benefits.

Compounded means unapproved

Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved. FDA does not review them for safety, effectiveness or quality before they are sold.

How to choose a seller

  1. Check the company in our FDA warning letter tracker and provider reviews.
  2. Ask which licensed pharmacy compounds the product.
  3. Confirm a prescriber reviews your history and medicines.
  4. Avoid anything labeled for research use only; FDA has rejected that label in warning letters [5].
  5. Get the full price, including memberships and renewals, in writing.
