BBB grades it B-, and its file shows repeated complaints about charges after cancelling and refused refunds, with 24 of its 37 complaints in the last 12 months [2] [3]. It also calls its compounded drugs "affordable generic options", which FDA tells telehealth sellers not to do [1] [7]. On Oct 24 2026 its compounded GLP-1 started at $77 a month for 4 doses [4].
Ivy Rx is an online program run by Ivy Rx, PLLC that sells compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide injections, oral "GLP-1 melts", wellness injections and supplements after an online medical review.
Our verdict
AvoidNo FDA letter, but it sells BPC-157, a peptide that is not on the list of substances pharmacies may compound, which meets our Avoid rule. Its BBB file shows repeated cancellation, billing and refund complaints, and it calls compounded drugs "generic".

Why Ivy Rx is rated Avoid
Our rating rules put a company in Avoid for selling peptides that cannot legally be compounded, and Ivy Rx sells BPC-157. Its BBB grade, B-, does not set the verdict, but the file is small and heading the wrong way: 37 complaints in three years, 24 of them in the last 12 months [3]. In the ten complaints BBB showed on Oct 24 2026, the same problems repeat [3]:
- Charges after cancelling. "I was charged after I received confirmation my account had been cancelled" (May 6 2026) [3].
- Refunds refused. "They are still refusing to refund my money" (July 28 2026) [3].
- Shipping heat. Medicine that arrived "very hot" (July 28 2026) [3].
- Dosing mistakes. "They gave me the wrong dose instructions" (May 2026) [3].
- Charges at odd times. "Every month, the charges come out at different times" (July 7 2026) [3].
Two more things weigh on the rating. Ivy Rx's FAQ calls its products "affordable generic options" [1], and FDA says telehealth companies should not describe a compounded drug as a generic version of an approved drug, because generics are FDA-approved and compounded drugs are not [7]. It also sells BPC-157 capsules from $129 and says BPC-157 "is considered safe when used as directed" [10]. FDA's own review found there is not enough clinical safety data to describe BPC-157's safety, and BPC-157 is not on the list of substances 503A pharmacies may compound [11] [12]. An FDA advisory committee voted 8 to 6 in July 2026 to recommend adding it for ulcerative colitis, but that vote is only a recommendation [18]. Read our BPC-157 guide.

A sponsored Ivy Rx release from January 2026 listed 1-, 3-, 6- and 12-month plans from $295 down to $165 a month [13]. Those plans were not on the site when we checked, so ask for the full price at your dose before you pay. Compare with our semaglutide cost guide and cheapest tirzepatide online.
Refund and cancellation terms
- Plans are 1 month or 3 months prepaid, then renew month to month [6].
- "You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting our support team" [6].
- The refund page says "due to the nature of our products, we are unable to accept returns" [5].
- The terms mention a 15-day window for people dissatisfied with an order [6].
What you get from Ivy Rx
Ivy Rx, PLLC, at 111 NE 1st Street in Miami, runs the program [1] [6]. It says prescriptions come from "licensed physicians" and that it "does not provide any services for which a medical license is required", without naming a medical group [6]. The pharmacy is described only as a "partner pharmacy" compounding to "503B/USP <797> standards" [1]. It does not list the states it serves [6]. Its eligibility chart offers a microdose plan at a BMI under 24.99 and a full dose above 25 [4].
Microdosing is not a labeled use of any approved GLP-1; see microdosing semaglutide. For what compounded status means, see compounded semaglutide.
FDA and complaint record
FDA: No warning letter to Ivy Rx turned up in fda.gov searches or on our FDA warning letter tracker [8].
BBB: B-, not accredited, file opened May 12 2025, 37 complaints [2] [3]. Trustpilot: 4.7 from 7,122 reviews, 5% one-star; recent negative reviews mention melted ice packs and a $50 offer in place of a refund [9].
Compounded GLP-1 safety
Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide are not FDA-approved and are not generics. FDA has received 990 adverse event reports for compounded semaglutide as of May 31 2026, warns of dosing errors, and says not to use injectables that arrive warm [11] [14]. The semaglutide label carries a boxed warning for thyroid C-cell tumors in rodents [15]. Severe stomach pain that will not go away needs prompt care. Call 911 for signs of a severe allergic reaction.
