Willow (Willow Health Services, Inc.) is a telehealth company that has marketed compounded semaglutide tablets and a compounded "Semaglutide Plus" injection for weight loss.
Our verdict
Use cautionNo FDA letter found, but an advertising watchdog found Willow's claims for its compounded semaglutide unsupported, and Willow refused to comply. Prices, pharmacy and refund terms could not be confirmed.
- FDA record
- No warning letter found in fda.gov searches or a compilation of 163 letters through Sept 30 2026 [2].
- BBB
- No confirmed BBB record. We could not check Willow's BBB profile as of Oct 17 2026, so this rating does not rest on a good BBB record and stays provisional until we do. Separately, BBB National Programs' NAD referred Willow's advertising to regulators after it declined to comply (Case #7488) [1].
- Best for
- Hard to say until prices and terms can be confirmed. Anyone who wants a GLP-1 pill has FDA-approved options.
- Watch out
- We have not yet confirmed this company's BBB record. NAD found Willow's claims for compounded semaglutide tablets unsupported and said the efficacy claims leaned on studies of brand drugs; Willow refused to change them [1].
- Price
- Not confirmed as of Oct 17 2026
- Sells
- Compounded semaglutide tablets and "Semaglutide Plus" injection, per the NAD case [1]
- Pharmacy
- Not confirmed

- Ad watchdog
- NAD Case #7488, Dec 4 2025: claims unsupported; referred to regulators [1]

What Willow costs
We could not confirm Willow's prices, or even its official website. When we tried to read its site on Oct 17 2026, the request was refused by a rate limit. We will not quote prices we cannot trace to the company.
If you are quoted a price, compare it with what FDA-approved GLP-1 pills cost direct from the makers. NovoCare lists the Wegovy pill at $149 a month for 1.5 mg, $199 for 4 mg and $299 for 9 mg and 25 mg [3]. LillyDirect lists Foundayo at $149 to $299 a month by dose [4]. See Wegovy pill cost, Foundayo and Foundayo vs Wegovy pill.
What Willow sells
The NAD case describes two products: compounded "Semaglutide Tablets" and a compounded "Semaglutide Plus" injection [1]. Both are compounded. Neither is FDA-approved, and FDA does not review compounded drugs for safety, effectiveness or quality [5]. The only FDA-approved semaglutide tablet for weight loss is the Wegovy pill [6]. Our compounded semaglutide guide explains the difference.
The NAD case, step by step
- Novo Nordisk, which makes Wegovy and Ozempic, challenged Willow's advertising before the National Advertising Division of BBB National Programs [1].
- NAD reviewed Willow's superiority, safety and efficacy claims for its compounded semaglutide tablets and "Semaglutide Plus" and found them unsupported. It recommended Willow stop or change them [1].
- Willow's efficacy claims for the compounded tablets relied on studies of brand-name drugs, not of its own product [1].
- Willow declined to comply. NAD said it would refer the matter to state attorneys general, federal regulators and ad platforms (decision released Dec 4 2025) [1].
The referral sends the case to state attorneys general, federal regulators and ad platforms [1]. We do not know whether any of them has acted. We found no FDA warning letter to Willow [2]; the companies that did get one are in our FDA warning letter tracker.
Why Caution and not Clean
Strictly, none of our standard triggers is confirmed for Willow: no FDA letter was found and its BBB record is not yet checked. We set Caution because a watchdog found its drug claims unsupported and Willow refused to fix them. Our rating rules explain the triggers. This page stays marked unconfirmed until we can check prices and terms.
Who it fits, who should skip it
If you want a GLP-1 you swallow rather than inject, the approved Wegovy pill and Foundayo have published prices and FDA-reviewed labels. If you want compounded semaglutide by injection, the programs listed next publish prices we could check, though none has a confirmed BBB record yet. Either way, ask any program to show the evidence for its own product, not for a brand drug.
Semaglutide safety
The Wegovy label has a boxed warning for thyroid C-cell tumors seen in rodents and is not for people with a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or MEN 2. Its warnings include acute pancreatitis, so severe stomach pain that will not go away needs prompt care, and low blood sugar with insulin or a sulfonylurea [6]. FDA's concerns page covers risks of unapproved GLP-1s [5]. Call 911 for a severe allergic reaction.
