The lawsuit that sets the Hims verdict

The FTC, Utah and Los Angeles County filed in California federal court in July 2026[20]. The complaint targets subscription sign-ups, cancellation and data sharing, which are the parts of a telehealth program that affect every customer, whatever drug they take. What to check before you move your prescription

  • Cancel and document it. The lawsuit alleges hard cancellation with continued charges[20]. Save the confirmation and watch your card statement.
  • Total monthly cost. Add the program fee to the drug price. PlushCare's membership is $19.99 a month[7]; Ro's is $74 to $149[1].
  • Insurance. If your plan covers GLP-1s, a program that bills insurance or files prior authorization can cut the drug cost to a copay; see GLP-1 insurance coverage.
  • Dose continuity. Bring your current dose and fill dates to the new prescriber; read switching GLP-1s.
  • Data sharing. Read the new program's privacy policy for advertising partners.
