Others include the July 2026 FTC, Utah and Los Angeles County lawsuit against Hims & Hers[5] and peptide menus that pharmacies may not lawfully compound[9]. The table names the reason for every verdict, the date the review was last updated and a link to the full review. We do not link to these companies or earn anything from them.
An Avoid verdict means a company has at least one of four records under our rule: an FDA warning letter whose cited claims are still live, a BBB Pattern of Complaints alert, a regulator, state board or court finding against it, or the sale of peptides that cannot legally be compounded. A BBB letter grade alone is not one of them.

The verdict rule
Every review on the site ends in one of three verdicts, set by the same written rule whether or not a company could pay us. The full method is on our editorial standards page.
- Avoid: an FDA warning letter whose cited claims are still live on the company's site, OR a BBB "Pattern of Complaints" alert, OR action by a regulator or state board or a court finding against the company, OR selling peptides that cannot legally be compounded (not FDA-approved and not on FDA's 503A Category 1 list).
- Use caution: a past FDA letter whose cited claims have been fixed, with no Avoid trigger.
- Clean: none of the above found.
- BBB grades: a letter grade alone, even D or F, does not set a verdict. Every review shows the grade with the reasons and counts BBB gives.
Affiliate commissions and Sponsored placements cannot buy a verdict, a ranking or a change to a review, as our how we make money page explains. Avoid-rated companies get no links, logos or buttons anywhere on the site.
How a company gets re-rated
A verdict changes when the record that set it changes. We do not take payment, interviews or promises as evidence; we check the primary record again.
- Fix the cited problem. Remove the claims FDA cited, get BBB to lift a Pattern of Complaints alert, resolve the regulator action, or stop selling peptides that cannot legally be compounded.
- Send us the record. Email [email protected] with the page address and a link to the primary source: an FDA close-out letter, the current BBB profile, a court order or a board decision.
- We recheck it ourselves. We read the record and the company's current site. If the Avoid condition no longer applies, the verdict moves to Use caution or Clean, and the review says what changed and when.
- It can move back. If the problem returns, so does the Avoid verdict.

Questions people ask
Why is TrimRx rated Avoid?
Why are Hims and Hers rated Avoid?
In July 2026 the FTC, the State of Utah and Los Angeles County sued Hims & Hers, alleging undisclosed subscription sign-ups, hard cancellation and health data sharing with Meta and Snap[5]. The claims are allegations; an open regulator lawsuit meets our Avoid rule for every Hims and Hers program we review.
Why are OrderlyMeds and Eden rated Avoid?
Can an Avoid-rated company pay to change its rating?
No. Commissions and Sponsored placements cannot buy a verdict or a change to a review, and Avoid-rated companies get no links or affiliate buttons. A rating changes only when the primary record that set it changes.
Why are Henry Meds, bmiMD and MedVi no longer rated Avoid?
On Oct 24 2026 we changed our rule so a BBB letter grade alone no longer sets a verdict. Henry Meds and bmiMD keep BBB F grades but have no Pattern of Complaints alert, live FDA letter or regulator finding, so both are now Clean [10] [11]. MedVi is Use caution: BBB grades it F [1], and the text claims cited in its Feb 2026 FDA letter [2] were gone from its GLP-1 site when we checked on Oct 17 2026.
How can a company get its Avoid rating reviewed?
Fix the problem the review cites, then email [email protected] with a link to the primary record, such as an FDA close-out letter or the current BBB profile. We recheck the record and the company's site, and the review says what changed and when.
How many companies do you rate Avoid?
10 as of Oct 24 2026. The table on this page lists each one with the specific record behind its verdict and links to the full review.
