How we check

Is Beaker Pharmacy legit?

Beaker Pharmacy and Compounding is a compounding pharmacy in McKinney, Texas with no FDA warning letter, Form 483 or recall that we could find in FDA's compounding and recall records on Oct 24, 2026 [1] [2].

MEDVi lists it as a partner pharmacy [3]. A clean federal record is not proof of quality: state boards of pharmacy handle day-to-day oversight of 503A pharmacies, and FDA inspects them for surveillance or for cause [4].

What Beaker Pharmacy is

Beaker says its compounding lab takes a doctor's prescription and makes a medicine for that patient [5]. It lists one location, 7810 Eldorado Parkway, Suite 200, McKinney, Texas [5] [3]. Its page does not mention GLP-1 drugs, PCAB accreditation or the states where it is licensed [5].

503A or 503B?

Beaker is not a registered 503B outsourcing facility on FDA's list, checked Oct 24, 2026 [6]. Its own page does not say 503A or 503B [5]. A pharmacy that compounds for individual prescriptions and is not on that list works under section 503A, with the Texas board as its main regulator [4].

Texas license

The Texas State Board of Pharmacy runs a public pharmacy license search, updated each weekday [7]. We could not pull Beaker's record from the search form on Oct 24, 2026, so we do not list a license number. Search for "Beaker" in the pharmacy search, and check that the address matches the McKinney location.

Which providers we review use Beaker

MEDVi lists Beaker Pharmacy and Compounding next to Triad Rx and Red Rock Pharmacy [3]. FDA warned MEDVi on Feb 20, 2026 about how it marketed compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide [8]. Read our MEDVi review.

Before you take a Beaker-labeled drug

A compounded drug from Beaker has not been approved by FDA, and FDA does not test it for safety, effectiveness or quality before it ships [4]. For GLP-1s, see compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide.

  1. Read the label. The pharmacy name and address on the vial or box should match a pharmacy you can look up. FDA lists a pharmacy name on the label that you think might be fraudulent as a red flag [9].
  2. Check the license with the state board. FDA's BeSafeRx page links every state board of pharmacy license search [10]. Look up the pharmacy in its home state and in the state where you live.
  3. Check the website with NABP. The National Association of Boards of Pharmacy runs a Safe Site Search on Safe.Pharmacy and says a safe online pharmacy accepts only valid prescriptions, is licensed where it is located and where you live, and has a pharmacist you can reach [11].
  4. Never buy research-use-only vials. They are not legal for human use and are not pharmacy products.
  5. Report problems. FDA asks people to report side effects or quality problems with any medicine to MedWatch [9]. For a medical emergency, call 911.
