How we check

Is Red Rock Pharmacy legit?

Red Rock Pharmacy is a Utah compounding pharmacy that posts 59 state pharmacy licenses on its website [1], and MEDVi lists it as a partner pharmacy [2].

FDA issued a 10-item Form 483 on Jul 31, 2026 to a Utah pharmacy doing business as Red Rock Pharmacy in Springville, citing problems during semaglutide and tirzepatide filling [3]; MEDVi lists a St. George address, and we could not confirm the two are the same business.

Red Rock Pharmacy is a Utah compounding pharmacy that markets compounded medicines and ships under licenses in many states.

What Red Rock Pharmacy is

Its website calls it Red Rock Compounding Pharmacy and says it has been compounding since 2017 [4]. MEDVi gives its address as 1240 E 100 S, Suite 220, St. George, UT 84790 and links to redrockhomepharmacy.com [2]. The home page does not mention GLP-1 drugs [4].

503A or 503B?

Red Rock is not on FDA's registered outsourcing facility list, checked Oct 24, 2026 [5]. FDA's compounding actions page lists the Springville Red Rock Pharmacy as a 503A compounder [6]. The website itself does not say 503A or 503B [4].

State licenses

The licenses page lists 59 pharmacy licenses across states and DC, including two Utah licenses, numbers 10369880-1703 and 10369880-8913 [1]. It shows no entity name, address or expiration date for any of them [1]. We could not pull those records from Utah's license lookup on Oct 24, 2026. Utah's search is linked from FDA's BeSafeRx page [7].

A Form 483 lists an inspector's observations at the end of an inspection. It is not a final FDA finding of a violation.

Same name, two addresses

The 483 went to a Springville, Utah location [3]. MEDVi lists a St. George, Utah location [2]. Red Rock's website lists two Utah licenses but no addresses [1]. We did not find a primary source tying the two addresses to one company, so treat the 483 as a record to ask the pharmacy about, not as a finding about the St. George site.

Which providers we review use Red Rock

MEDVi lists RedRock Pharmacy with Triad Rx and Beaker Pharmacy as partner pharmacies [2]. MEDVi got an FDA warning letter on Feb 20, 2026 [9]. Read our MEDVi review and our FDA warning letter tracker.

If your vial says Red Rock

Medicine made by Red Rock is a compounded drug, and compounded drugs are not FDA-approved [10]. FDA does not review them for safety, effectiveness or quality before they reach patients. Our pages on compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide explain the legal limits.

  1. Read the label. The pharmacy name and address on the vial or box should match a pharmacy you can look up. FDA lists a pharmacy name on the label that you think might be fraudulent as a red flag [11].
  2. Check the license with the state board. Red Rock lists its own license numbers by state [1], which you can match against the board's record. FDA's BeSafeRx page links every state board of pharmacy license search [7]. Check your own state too.
  3. Check the website with NABP. The National Association of Boards of Pharmacy runs a Safe Site Search on Safe.Pharmacy and says a safe online pharmacy accepts only valid prescriptions, is licensed where it is located and where you live, and has a pharmacist you can reach [12].
  4. Never buy research-use-only vials. They are not legal for human use and are not pharmacy products.
  5. Report problems. FDA asks people to report side effects or quality problems with any medicine to MedWatch [11]. For a medical emergency, call 911.
