Drug label cautions

Wegovy and Zepbound labels include a boxed warning on thyroid C-cell tumors in rodents and are not for people with a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or MEN 2 [7] [8]. Tell your clinician if you use insulin or a sulfonylurea, because of low blood sugar risk. The labels say to stop when pregnancy is recognized. Severe stomach pain that persists needs care; call 911 in an emergency.
