Fridays review: cost, pharmacy and complaints

Fridays Health is rated F by the Better Business Bureau, which says the company failed to respond to 35 of 41 complaints, and its complaint log shows 65 complaints in the last 12 months, 63 of them unanswered [1] [2]. That record puts it in our Avoid group even though its prices start at $99 to $198 a month for compounded drugs [3].

Medical review: pending. A licensed clinician has not yet reviewed this page.

Fridays (Fridays Health) is an online GLP-1 weight loss program run by Thrive Health Group, Inc. of Irvine, California, with prescribers supplied by OpenLoop Healthcare Partners and other clinical networks.

Our verdict

Avoid

Fridays offers both brand and compounded GLP-1s, but a BBB F rating, mostly unanswered complaints and a pricing page that contradicts itself put it in Avoid.

FDA record
No FDA warning letter found to Fridays or Thrive Health Group, Inc. A Feb 9 2026 letter went to Thrive Health and Wellness, LLC of Colorado, a different company, and does not mention Fridays [4].
BBB
F, not accredited. 72 complaints in 3 years, 65 in the last 12 months, 63 unanswered [1] [2].
Best for
We cannot recommend it while the BBB record stands.
Watch out
"All fees are non-refundable, including if you cancel mid-cycle", plans auto-renew, and promo prices revert to the standard rate [5].

Fridays prices, and why they are hard to pin down

The Fridays pricing page lists more than one price for the same product. For compounded semaglutide it shows "Starting at $99", a $150 headline, $249 or $199 for month-to-month, and $279 a month on an annual plan. A "Signature Plans" block still reads "Save up to $xxx" [3]. We list every figure so you can see the spread.

The brand prices stand out. Fridays lists Zepbound at $1,828 a month, while LillyDirect sells Zepbound self-pay at $299 to $449 a month depending on dose, with refills inside its 45-day window [7]. NovoCare sells the Wegovy pill at $149 to $299 a month by dose [8]. See Zepbound cost and Wegovy pill prices before you pay a reseller's markup.

Refund and cancellation terms

  • "ALL FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE, including if you cancel mid-cycle." Exceptions are medical disqualification before service, a billing error, or where the law requires [5].
  • Medicine that has been dispensed or shipped cannot be returned [5].
  • You must cancel by email at least 72 hours before billing. Plans auto-renew, and promo pricing reverts to the standard rate [5].
  • The terms contradict themselves on prorated refunds: one section says none, another says prorated refunds are available on request [5].

What the program includes

Fridays says membership covers unlimited provider visits, group coaching, a dietitian and the SESH fitness app [3]. It does not compound drugs itself and says so; it states that compounded drugs are not FDA-approved and are "produced in FDA-registered facilities" [3]. It links a partner pharmacy list rather than naming the pharmacy on the pricing page. Services may not be available in every state, and the excluded states are not listed on the pages we read [5].

FDA and BBB record

FDA: We found no warning letter to Fridays or to Thrive Health Group, Inc. [6]. Do not confuse it with Thrive Health and Wellness, LLC of Englewood, Colorado, which received an FDA letter on Feb 9 2026 that does not mention Fridays [4]. Our FDA warning letter tracker lists the GLP-1 sellers that did receive letters.

BBB: Fridays is rated F and not accredited. The profile cites failure to respond to 35 of 41 complaints [1]. The complaint log is larger: 72 in three years, 65 in the last 12 months, with 63 unanswered [2].

The themes in those complaints: charges people did not authorize or that came after cancelling, refunds refused or offered as a $50 credit, medicine filled by a different pharmacy or at a different dose, shipments missing or not kept cold, and chats and emails that went unanswered [2]. In two replies the company said the complaints were about "an unrelated company (JoinFridays.com)", but BBB lists JoinFridays.com and Fridays as this firm's own alternate names [2].

Trustpilot: 4.1 from 4,893 reviews on a profile claimed in January 2024. The negative reviews there echo the BBB themes: pharmacy switching and charges for doses that did not arrive [9].

How we reached Avoid

A BBB rating of D or F, or a pattern of billing and refund complaints, puts a provider in Avoid under our editorial standards. Fridays meets both. We have no affiliate link to Fridays.

Who might be tempted, and the better route

The low first-month offers and the $98 Wegovy pill promo are the draw. The catch is the prepaid annual plan behind that pill price and a no-refund policy if things go wrong [3] [5]. If you want the Wegovy pill or Zepbound, the makers' own self-pay programs publish fixed prices by dose. If you want compounded semaglutide, read compounded semaglutide: cost, legality and safety and compare the programs below.

Safety notes for any GLP-1

Compounded GLP-1s are not FDA-approved, and FDA does not check them for safety, effectiveness or quality. FDA advises not using injectables that arrive warm [10]. The Wegovy label carries a boxed warning for thyroid C-cell tumors seen in rodents and lists acute pancreatitis among its warnings; severe stomach pain that will not go away needs prompt care [11]. For signs of a serious allergic reaction, call 911.

Programs to compare instead

Each of these is rated Clean or Caution. None has a confirmed BBB record yet: we could not check their BBB profiles, so the rating is not evidence of a good complaint history. Our online GLP-1 program comparison covers more options, and our ShedRx review covers another Avoid case.
