TrumpRx: which GLP-1s it sells and what they cost

TrumpRx lists four GLP-1 drugs with these starting monthly prices: the Wegovy pill from $149, the Wegovy pen $199, Ozempic $199 and Zepbound $299, as shown on TrumpRx.gov on Oct 17, 2026 [1]. The site does not sell drugs itself; it sends you to the maker's own program or gives you a coupon for a local pharmacy [2].

TrumpRx.gov is a federal website launched on Feb 5, 2026 that lists cash prices for brand drugs and directs buyers to manufacturer direct-to-consumer programs or pharmacy coupons [3] [2].

What TrumpRx shows for each GLP-1

TrumpRx shows one starting price per drug next to an "original" list price. It does not list a price for every dose, so we added the makers' own dose prices in the next column. All prices are monthly and were checked Oct 17, 2026.

How TrumpRx works

  1. Get a prescription. TrumpRx prices are cash prices that require a valid prescription [4].
  2. Pick the drug on TrumpRx.gov. For Zepbound, the page sends you to LillyDirect, which checks eligibility and ships the drug [7].
  3. For drugs sold through pharmacies, such as the Wegovy pill, you take a TrumpRx coupon to a local pharmacy [2].
  4. Pay cash. Insurance is not used, and the site tells insured people to check whether their copay is lower [4]. The maker's own eligibility terms still apply [4].

TrumpRx does not lower GLP-1 prices below the makers' own

TrumpRx sends buyers to the same programs anyone can use directly: LillyDirect and NovoCare [2]. The Zepbound price on TrumpRx is the LillyDirect price [7] [8]. What TrumpRx adds is one place to compare. Our GLP-1 Price Tracker goes further, with every dose, savings card and the Medicare Bridge.

TrumpRx and Zepbound

TrumpRx's Zepbound page covers the 2.5 mg to 15 mg vials, advertises "up to 72% off" and notes that an insurance copay may be lower [7]. Through LillyDirect, the higher doses cost $449 only if each refill comes within 45 days of the last one; otherwise 7.5 mg costs $499 and 10 to 15 mg cost $699 [8]. If your commercial plan covers Zepbound, Lilly's savings card can bring the copay to $25, far below any TrumpRx price [9]. Full detail on Zepbound cost.

Who TrumpRx helps, and who should skip it

  • Helps: people paying cash who want to see a starting price fast. Pharmacy Times describes the site as aimed at uninsured cash payers [2].
  • Skip it if your plan covers the drug. Maker savings cards can cut the cost to $25 [9] [5]. See Wegovy insurance or Zepbound insurance.
  • On Medicare? The GLP-1 Bridge charges eligible Part D members $50 a month for Wegovy, Foundayo and the Zepbound KwikPen [10]. That beats every TrumpRx GLP-1 price. See Medicare GLP-1 coverage.
  • Want Foundayo? It was not on the TrumpRx home page on Oct 17, 2026 [1]. LillyDirect sells it for $149 to $299 [11]; see Foundayo price.

What changed since launch

TrumpRx launched on Feb 5, 2026 [3]. In May 2026 it expanded to more than 600 generic drugs, added discounts from Amazon Pharmacy, Cost Plus Drugs and GoodRx, and added local cash-price comparison. That expansion did not mention GLP-1 changes [12]. AJMC reported at launch that no medications are sold on the website itself [4].

A cash price is still a prescription drug

Every GLP-1 on TrumpRx carries the same label warnings as anywhere else, including a boxed warning for thyroid C-cell tumors seen in rodents [13] [14]. Stop and get help for severe stomach pain that persists or for any sign of an allergic reaction, and ask about low blood sugar if you take insulin or a sulfonylurea. For an emergency, call 911. Questions people ask

What GLP-1 drugs does TrumpRx sell?

TrumpRx lists four GLP-1 products: the Wegovy pill from $149 a month, the Wegovy pen at $199, Ozempic at $199 and Zepbound at $299 (TrumpRx.gov, Oct 17, 2026) [1]. The site itself does not dispense drugs [4].

How much is Zepbound on TrumpRx?

TrumpRx lists Zepbound at $299 a month against an original price of $1,087 [1]. That is the 2.5 mg price. Through LillyDirect, where TrumpRx sends you, 5 mg is $399 and 7.5 to 15 mg are $449 with a refill within 45 days, or up to $699 otherwise [8].

Is TrumpRx cheaper than LillyDirect or NovoCare?

No. TrumpRx routes buyers to the makers' own programs or to coupons [2], and its GLP-1 prices match those programs' starting prices [8] [5].

Does TrumpRx take insurance?

No. TrumpRx prices are cash prices, and the site advises insured people to check whether their copay is lower [4]. With commercial coverage, maker savings cards can bring Zepbound or Wegovy to $25 a month [9] [5].

Do I need a prescription to use TrumpRx?

Yes. TrumpRx prices require a valid prescription, and each maker's eligibility rules still apply [4].

Is Foundayo on TrumpRx?

Foundayo was not among the GLP-1s listed on the TrumpRx home page on Oct 17, 2026 [1]. LillyDirect sells it for $149 to $299 a month [11].

Can people on Medicare use TrumpRx?

TrumpRx follows each maker's terms [4]. Lilly says Medicare members can use LillyDirect self-pay but not its commercial savings card [9]. Part D members who meet the Medicare GLP-1 Bridge criteria pay $50 a month for Wegovy, Foundayo or the Zepbound KwikPen [10].
